Steel Magnolias use to be one of my favorite old movies to watch. This film chronicles the lives and friendships of 6 women that live in Louisiana. They support each other through their triumphs and tragedies.

I got super excited when I heard that one of my favorite channels, which is Lifetime, was doing a remake! This time they are going with an all black cast.

The line up for the cast are some of the best African American actresses out there. Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad and Alfre Woodard. Be sure to check your local cable listings so that you can tune in to the premiere tomorrow.

I love Mexican food so today I decided to make Chicken Taquitos for Lunch. If your interested in having some of these then let me tell you how I made mines!

What you will need:
2 boneless skinless chicken breast
shredded cheese
flower tortillas

Directions:
I boiled two boneless skinless chicken breast for about 15 minutes.
When the chicken was done boiling i rinsed it with cold water so that i could cool it down.
Then I pulled the chicken apart by hand. This is my version of "shredding" the chicken.
Next step is to put some flower tortillas on the electric grill. I just warmed them up. So they were on the grill for about a minute on each side.
I added chicken and cheese to each tortilla and then rolled it up and put a tooth pick in the center to make sure it stayed rolled.
When i was done rolling all of them, I added cheese on top and then put them in the oven on 350 degrees for ten minutes.

Take them out of the oven and cut them. Then serve with sour cream and/or guacamole.

I saved my old water gallons and my old liquid laundry detergent containers so that I could use them to make  some homemade laundry detergent. I have been wanting to do this for a long time so im really excited that i was able to finally try it out.

Here's what you need:

Dawn Dish Soap
Borax

One Gallon Container

Step 1:
Add all of the following in your one gallon container
4 Cups Boilling Water
3 Tbls Washing Soda

Step2:
Let this cool down. After it has cooled then fill the rest of the gallon with cold water. Make sure all the suds run out of the gallon while your adding all the cold water in there.

I have been with Geico Insurance for about 3 years now. They offered a military discount which made our premium lower then it was with State Farm. We have car insurance on a 2010 Dodge Charger, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and renters insurance. All of that combined and we pay $96 per month.

Claims are easily processed online and they have paperless billing. Online account access is available so that you can print our insurance cards and policy information. It saves time, instead of having to talk to an agent over the phone or waiting for something to be mailed to you. I have automatic payments setup to come out of my checking account every month. If your trying to find a new insurance company because your premiums are low then you should contact Geico and get a quote!
